I have to say, your kids have a great mom! The reality of letting go hit me very strong when Josh was a Senior, and I almost panicked thinking I didn't do it right, I didn't do enough, what will he choose, will he choose God, my coat strings were no longer enough to bring him along, it was now his decision to walk his own way and I've had to sit and watch my little boy, now a young man walk a path that leads to nowhere. My consistent prayer for him and jordan is for God to reveal Himself to them and that they will have their own faith, their own relationship with Him, their own testimony, and not after years of wasteful wandering but in the now while they are young and can spend their lives making a difference in their generation, not because I've said to, or because they want to please me, but because they have a heartbeat for God and a desire to follow Him. For me waiting for that is the hardest part, because I tend to think that right now is the perfect time, but I trust that God has them in His hands and loves them a whole lot more than I ever could, even though I did give birth to them, He is the One who created them in His image.
